Event Itinerary
Day 1: May 12thYou will arrive in Cusco, settle in, and take time to acclimate. We will enjoy a group dinner together that evening. Meet in the lobby at the Amaru, 5:00 p.m. to enjoy meeting everyone and having a delicious meal together. |
Day 2: May 13thYou will have a full day as we head out at 7:30 am on route to Tipon. Tipon is a sprawling 15th century archaeological park that consists of several ruins and a powerful defensive wall. The complex was an imperial estate for the Incan elite where many ceremonies took place. Tipon is a hydraulic masterpiece as it uses a combined surface and groundwater that are perfectly balanced. The main attraction is the peace and tranquility of the energy along with the terraces, fountains, Inca canals and aqueducts. Here you will see the ruins and complete a small ofrenda for Pachamama, the Apus and the ancestors. We then travel onward to visit Pikillaqta, the village of the Wari people. The site was occupied from 550 to 100 A.D. The main use for this sacred site was also ceremony. You will be able to appreciate how advanced the Wari people were in architectural design and urban planning. As we travel to Pisaq, you will have time in this quaint little town enjoying lunch on your own and access to trusted artists that Teri has worked with for the past 15 years along with great prices for your treasures! We will also visit the animal sanctuary that rescues, Parrots, Condors, and other animals throughout Peru. We will then return to Cusco in the late afternoon. ( Complimentary breakfast at the Amaru, Lunch and dinner on your own). |

Dora FronekDora Fronek is the President and founder of Sacred Wisdom Discovery, a Peruvian foundation dedicated to the preservation of ancestral traditions, culture, and ceremonies. While previously having had an established practice, Dora answered Spirit’s call to move to Peru to apprentice directly with the Andean Masters of the Musuq Tawantinsuyu and through her dedication to the spiritual path, she is a bridge in working directly with the Andean Masters. |
