Jairo has learned to prepare the medicine and lead Ayahuasca ceremonies from his father Don Julio Llerena Pinedo.
Don Julio was world renowned and the first indigenous person to introduce this work and medicine to westerners in the 1960’s through the journalist Peter Gorman. Jairo is well accustomed to working with Westerners. His father who served Westerners and locals over 40 years, taught Jairo how to prepare Ayahuasca and heal through Iquaros (energetic medicine songs).

"All your needs taken care of and then some. Beds are comfortable. Showers are great. Wonderful retreat. Incredible ceremonial spaces. Teri, Pol and staff are incredible. It's a wonderful place to connect to spirit and yourself. The food from Chef Will is outta this world. And no worries about your dieta because everything he creates is ok to have. The beach day was so relaxing and restorative. The items in the gift shop are unique and carefully handpicked by Teri from artisans. Great quality at a really excellent price. I may have spent too much on gifts but do worth it. I have memorable peices (jewelry and textiles) that i will cherish forever."
